IS THIS THE LORRY (BIG RIG) OF FUTURE?

          This week, in Nevada State (USA), was  tested a big rig named: "Freightliner Inspiration",  that can drive "by itself". This interesting truck was made by a german company called Daimler.

          It is fitted with a camera, radar and a device that can detect the road and traffic situation and  send the information to the autopilot system.....





     ...It isn't meant to replace the drivers completely, however, it's meant to solve the problems of fatigued and stressed driving and reduce CO2 emissions up to 5 percent.

        We know that this two elements are considered as the worst problems of road haulage...

....para el transporte marítimo y el aéreo existe una denominación especifica para la figura del Transitario, en el caso de transporte marítimo es conocido como "NVOCC" (Non Vessel Operator Common Carrier) y para el transporte aéreo hablamos de una "agencia IATA".

AGENTE TRANSITARIO.

    Es una persona física o jurídica que desarrolla su actividad como operador en el transporte internacional y que tiene como función gestionar las empresas de transporte en nombre del exportador o importador.

    Sus funciones más destacables son la organización y seguimiento del transporte, sin ningún tipo de incidencias, hasta su destino; tramitar documentación, contratación de seguros, información constante de la mercancía y, si fuese necesario, realizar tareas de embalaje, almacenamiento y transporte.


Su figura está regulada en España por la Ley 16/1987 de ordenación de transporte terrestre (LOTT).

INCOTERMS 2010

      Las reglas INCOTERMS, fueron creadas por la Cámara de Comercio Internacional (ICC) en 1936, para la regularización del comercio internacional. En ellas se delimitan las responsabilidades del comprador y el vendedor, aunque no se trate de un contrato de compra-venta, empleando las correspondientes siglas. La ultima revisión data en 2010.
